This bride is clothed in fine linen, clean and
white, which is righteousness.

The Bride of Christ is an analogy of marriage
to show the joy of the marriage of the Lamb
to the church.

2 Corinthians 11:2 "For I am jealous over
you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused
you to one husband, that I may present you
as a chaste virgin to Christ.

Those who are called are blessed!
Revelation 19:7-9
"Let us be
glad and
rejoice,
and give
honour to
him: for the
marriage of
the Lamb
is come, and
his wife hath
made herself ready." The bride of Christ goes
to the marriage of the Lamb.
The man child (Jesus) was to rule all
nations and was caught up to heaven.

The woman fled into the wilderness to
prepare a place for 1,260 days or 3 1/2 yrs.
Time of the Great Tribulation on earth.

The archangel, Michael and his angels
fight the dragon and his angels who is
defeated, losing all his power and angels.
Revelation 12:1-9
A great wonder
appeared in heaven.
A woman clothed
with the sun, on her
head was a crown of
twelve stars.
Possibly Israel who
brings forth a son.
Then appears a red
dragon. . .the devil
He hates the woman.
He has seven heads
and ten horns. Each
head had a crown.
He draws one third of heaven after him
angels who became demons.
God rebukes this church and says that it will
go into the tribulation if it does not repent.

God hates false prophesies.

The church must stand on truth and silence
those who speak lies.

Revelation 2:23-26
She, Jezebel, caused God's servants to eat
food that had been sacrificed to idols.
Acts 15:20 tells this was forbidden by the
Holy Spirit.

She was related to idol worship. There was
pagan practices and idolatry in the church.

Verse 21, God gives her an opportunity to
repent but she refuses.
This woman called herself a prophetess.

She was permitted to teach in the church.

She seduced God's servants to commit
fornication.

She so illustrates the flesh that she
produced sin.
Jezebel is one of the four women in the book
of Revelation.

Read
Revelation 2:20-22

She is shown in the
fourth church
of the seven churches.

Church of Thyatira

She was a member of the church, similar
to the O.T Jezebel, but was not the queen
of Israel in 1Kings 19.
Four beasts and 24 elders fell down before
Jesus, singing a new song. Angels and the
redeemed of the earth praised God for
redemption.

The song of the redeemed exclaims that
He has redeemed us to God, and made us
kings and priests.

One hundred million angels magnified
the Lord.

All creation joined in the praise.
Read Revelation 5:8-14
Revelation 5:9
"And when
he had taken
the book, the
four beasts
and four and
twenty elders
fell down
before the Lamb,
having every one of them harps, and golden vials
full of odours, which are the prayers of the saints.
Revelation 5:8
As the Lion of the tribe of Judah, Jesus is
the promised root
and
offspring of David.

Satan refuses to give
up his hold, so He
must
take it by force.
The seven-sealed
book was to be
opened by Jesus.
He is the only One
who could pay the
price.

All of creation couldn't even look upon it. No
other person is able to reach God and man.

But as a redeemer He is worthy and willing
and able to redeem a lost world.

"And I beheld,
and, lo, in the
midst of the
throne and of
the four beasts,
and in the midst
of the elders,
stood a Lamb
as it was slain,
having seven horns, and seven eyes,
which are the seven Spirits of God sent
forth into all the earth. And he came and
took the book out of the right hand of him
that sat upon the throne."
Revelation 5:6
seven horns. . . .fulness of power
seven eyes. . . . fulness of knowledge and
. . . . . . . . . . . .wisdom
the lamb is the symbol of redemption.
Showing his great compassion for the state
man was in, John broke into tears.

"And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither
under the earth, was able to open the book,
neither to look thereon.
And I wept much, because no man was found
worthy to open and to read the book, neither
to look thereon." Revelation 5:3-4

"And I saw in the right hand of him that sat
on the throne a book written within and on
the backside, sealed with seven seals.
And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with

a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book,
and to loose the seals thereof?"
Revelation 5:1-2

The book, or scroll, in God's right hand speaks
of authority. It is written within and without.

There are seven seals showing completeness.

When it is opened the heavens and the earth
are purified of sin.

Chapter four is continued by chapter five
because it begins with "and." In this
chapter Jesus is seen in another one of His
glories as the Lamb who opens the book.

The seven-sealed book of this chaper contains
the secret of the chapters that will follow, and
is the key to the entire book of Revelation.

The book is a mortgage type contract of man's
sins and holds the terms by which man can be
redeemed from what Adam lost.

"But thou, O Daniel, shut up the
words, and seal the book, even to the time of
the end: many shall run to and fro, and
knowledge shall be increased." Daniel 12:4
There is going to be an unusual increase of
knowledge;
There is going to be an unusual increase in

travel upon the earth;
earthquakes in various places;
and distress of nations.
Luke 21:11, 25
We will not know the day or the hour of the
rapture.

"But of that day and that hour knoweth no
man, no, not the angels which are in heaven,
neither the Son, but the Father."
Mark 13:32

Only God the Father knows when it will occur,
not even Jesus. But there are signs of when
it is drawing near.
'We must have done good.' We must have
received Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

"Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming,
in the which all that are in the graves shall
hear his voice,
John 5:28 and 29
And shall come forth; they that

have done good, unto the
resurrection of life; and they
that have done evil, unto the
resurrection of damnation."
We must be in Christ.

"For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ
shall all be made alive."
I Corinthians 15:22 and 23
"But every man in his own order; Christ
the first fruits; afterward they that are
Christ's at his coming.

He is coming for His church.
"For our conversation is in heaven, from
whence also we look for the Saviour, the
Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall change our vile body, that it
may be fashioned like unto his glorious
body, according to the working whereby
he is able even to subdue all things unto
himself." Philippians 3:20-21

To reward and change our vile bodies, to
look like His.

Our bodies are earthly and limited. But we
will shed them and become like Jesus did
after His resurrection.
"For this corruptible must put on incorruption,
and this mortal must put on immortality."
I Corinthians 15:53

Notice the word must.

We will not go to heaven as we are now.
In a moment [the smallest particle of time]
. . . .in the
twinkling of an eye [a fraction of
a second].

I Corinthians 15:52 "In a moment, in the
twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for
the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall
be raised incorruptible, and we shall be
changed.

To collect believers from all ages and from
all parts of the earth. They will be raised in-
corruptible and will be changed.
The reason for the rapture, is to resurrect
the just[ified] dead.

I Thessalonians 4:13-14
"But I would not have you to be ignorant,
brethren, concerning them which are
asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others
which have
no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose

again, even so them also which sleep in
Jesus will God bring with him."

In order for God to bring 'the dead in
Christ' with him, they have to be there
already, and they are by being resurrected
(raptured) previously.
When the rapture takes place, Jesus will
descend from heaven.

He will appear in the air, "with a shout,".

The dead in Christ shall rise first, then the
living believers shall be caught up with them.

"For the Lord himself
shall descend from
heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the

archangel, and with the trump of God: and

the dead in Christ shall
rise first:
Then we which are alive
and remain shall be caught
up together with them in
the clouds,
to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we
ever be with the Lord."
I Thessalonians 4:16-17
Jesus promised that He would return, and
His disciples were warned to watch for Him.

"And take heed to yourselves, lest at any
time your hearts be overcharged with
surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of
this life, and so that day come upon you
unawares.
For as a snare shall it come on all them that

dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye

may be accounted worthy to escape all these
things that shall come to pass, and to stand
before the Son of man."
Luke 21:34-36
