The scenes in both Daniel 7 and Revelation
4-5 are one.

These two accounts add to each other and
together they give a complete explanation
of the purpose of the Judgment throne and
the opening of the book with seven seals.

The one on the throne
has a book in His
right hand, sealed with
Seven Seals.

It is the title-deed of creation.

None is found worthy to loose the Seals
and open the book, until the Lion of the
Tribe of Judah appears on the scene and
takes the Book.
Then the saints, redeemed from all the
nations, and the Living Creatures fall
before the throne, and with millions of
angels they worship and give glory to
Him that "liveth forever and ever".

The scene
around the
throne in
heaven is
very
dramatic.

It is surrounded in celestial glory,
appropriate for Diety who is about
to deal out judgment to the world.

The resurrection of the dead in Christ
has taken place and the rapture of
those who were alive in Christ also.

The saints of God are before the throne
with crowns of gold.

The living creatures about the throne,
join in and give praise to God!
Man is a big part of God's plans. The pray-
ers of the saints are critical. Jesus taught
us to pray.

If we are to have a part in the freeing of
the earth from the powers of darkness,
then we must make prayer a great part of
our lives.
These saved prayers are one of the most
impressive proofs of the importance of
prayer.

No one but the Lion of the Tribe of Judah
is worthy to open the seals and start the
events
that will
take the
earth away
from
Satan's
control.

After Christ Jesus takes the book with the
Seven Seals, the Twenty-Four Elders and
the Living Creatures fall down before the
Lamb to worship, and they have the
"golden
vials full of
odors, which
are the prayers
of the saints"
(vs 8)
Paul speaks of this promise of redemption
of the purchased possession in Ephesians
1:13-14.

"
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard
the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:
in whom also after that ye believed, ye were
sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Which
is the earnest of our inheritance until the
redemption of the purchased possession,
unto the praise of his glory.
"

We are told that Jesus sealed His promise
with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, which is
the earnest of our inheritance until the day
of the redemption of the purchased possession.

With the rapture of the saints in Revelation 4,
this event now begins to unfold.
Jesus, both qualified and worthy, was the
Near Kinsman.

Jesus has the right of redemption, first, by
reason of His incarnation in a human body
and becoming a near-kinsman (Luke 1:30
-35); and second, by His ransom of the race,
on the cross. (Matthew 20:28)

The time now being fulfilled He takes the
book and proceeds to strip Satan and his
angels who had assumed possession. The
inheritance will now be redeemed and
given to those to whom it rightfully belongs.
An angel could not have been worthy to
open the book and loose the Seals, because
they are not qualified.

According to the law of inheritance, only
near kinsman could redeem a lot possession.
Neither angels or archangels qualify; they
are of a different order.

Those of the human race, no man in heaven
or earth could be found worthy to perform
the act of redemption.

When John saw that there was no one to
open the book, causing no hope of redempt-
ion, it is no wonder that he wept. But it was
brief because Jesus appeared on the scene.
Now the heirs are there, having been
raptured or resurrected, and they sing
the song of the redemption. In their song,
they are anticipating the redemption of
the earth.

Now they are wondering who will open
the seals and demand possession because
Satan will resist with all the power he has.

John looked for someone in heaven or
earth who could match the power of Satan.
Someone who could loose the Seals and
take the legal action for taking possession.

Then one of the elders said, "And one of the
elders saith unto me, Weep not: hehold, the
Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David,
hath prevailed to open the book, and to
loose the seven seals thereof."
Revelation 5:5
The book in the hand of
Him that sat on
the throne, evidently
contains the title-
deed of the earth.

This scene in
Revelation 4 and 5,
shows the time has
come for the whole
earth to be restored to the rightful owners.
The price of the redemption was paid by
Jesus centuries before.

But even though the price has been paid,
the land redeemed, and the time has come
to take possession, the evidence has to be
presented and the seals broken in the
presence of the heirs.
In the fall, man came under the curse of
sin, sickness, and death.

He lost dominion over the earth, and he
earned a living working the ground by the
sweat of his brow.

Redemption (must) will include the re-
storation of all things that man had lost.
To fully understand the meaning of the
Seven-Sealed book and the opening of its
Seals, we must understand something of
what man has lost by sin.

In the beginning, man was made in the
image of God and given dominion over
the earth. But, in his yielding to Satan's
temptation in the Garden, a distructive
change took place.

Man's dominion was turned over to Satan.
This was told by Satan to Jesus during a
temptation in the wilderness. Luke 4:5-6
"And the devil, taking him up into an high
mountain, shewed unto him all the
kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
And the devil said unto him, All this power

will I give thee, and the glory of them: for
that is delivered unto me; and to
whomsoever I will I give it."
It is obvious that the book contains events
of the future. Since the beginning of time,
there has been those who have tried to
unveil the future.

Spiritualists, astrologers, fortune-tellers,
etc have pretended to have power to foretell
events; but except they have received their
revelation from God, all is fruitless.

There is an absolute limit to human powers
regarding knowing the future. Even nature
cannot be forced to disclose it.
"And I saw in the right hand of him that
sat on the throne a book written within
and on the backside, sealed with seven
seals.

And I saw a strong

angel proclaiming
with a loud voice,
Who is worthy to
open
the book, and to
loose the seals thereof?

And no man in heaven, nor in earth,

neither under the earth, was able to
open the book, neither to look thereon.

And I wept much, because no man was

found worthy to open and to read the
book, neither to look thereon.

And one of the elders saith unto me,

Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe
of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed
to open the book, and to loose the seven
seals thereof."
