1 John
3:8

Romans
1:16
It is interesting to not the state of those
who have been martyred.

Death is never then end of existence.
The saints that have been killed during
the Tribulation are under the altar, it is
more than likely
paradise or the
Third Heaven.
(2 Corinthians
12:1-4)

It is not as high a
heaven as the one
where God's throne
and the heavenly
temple is,

as expressed 'under the altar', but it is
close enough for those who are there
to be in the presence of God. "Absent
from the body, present with the Lord."
2 Corinthians 5:8
These of the Fifth Seal, are the martyrs of
the Great Tribulation.

It is said that they were slain "for the Word
of God, and for the testimony which they
held".

The tribulation saints will bear witness to
the truth of the rapture of those who had
disapeared. And it will make the Antichrist
angry because he is trying to set himself as
the world's man. His vengeance will be fast
and furious to those with a testimony of
the Lord Jesus Christ or oppose him in
any way.
The Fifth Seal clearly tells of the martyr-
dom of the people saved during the
Tribulation who are referred to as the
'tribulation saints'.

No horses come charging forth because
this bloody persecution of the saints does
not come from heaven, it comes from the
Antichrist.
"And when he had opened the fifth seal,
I saw under the altar the souls of them
that were slain for the word of God,
and for the testimony which they held:
And they cried with a loud voice, saying,
How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost
thou not judge and avenge our blood
on them that dwell on the earth?
And white robes were given unto every
one of them; and it was said unto them,
that they should rest yet for a little season,
until their fellowservants also and their
brethren, that should be killed as they
were, should be fulfilled."
Revelation 6:9-11
Jesus said that the darkening of the sun
and the moon takes place after the Great
Tribulation.

"Immediately after the tribulation of those
days shall the sun be darkened, and the
moon shall not give her light, and the stars
shall fall from heaven, and the powers of
the heavens shall be shaken."
Matthew 24:29

Since the opening of the Sixth Seal occurs
after the Great Tribulation, the first five
seals must represent the time of the actual
Tribulation.
The opening of the Sixth Seal with the
darkening of the sun and the moon, is the
hour when God's wrath is moving in.

"For the great day of his wrath is come;
and who shall be able to stand?"
Revelation 6:17
The opening of the first four seals witnesses
the Four Horsemen going forth to take peace
from the world, with war, famine, and death.

At the opening of the Fifth Seal, we see a
multitude of saints who have been slain for
their testimony, in Revelation 7:9-14, they
come out of the Great Tribulation.
Daniel's Seventieth Week begins with the
opening of the first seal. The last half of the
week is the Great Tribulation spoken of by
the Lord in Matthew 24.

It is God's judgment in mercy, not the judg-
ment of the Great and Notable Day of the
Lord which follows the Great Tribulation.
Hades (hell) follows right after Death.

Death is not the end for those who go to
the end of the Tribulation Period. Those
who perish without Christ will be
swallowed up in Hades.

The
physical
body
isn't all,
there is
a spiritual form that exists
forever and ever.

If redeemed by the blood of Jesus, the
soul ascends to Paradise at death (Luke
23:43) If not redeemed, it goes down to
Hades.
Now the riders of the Second and Third
Horses, brings on war and famine,
and opens the way for the coming of the
rider of the Pale Horse called Death.

It is mentioned that the slaughter is caused
by the "beasts of the earth"; but it's obvious
that ordinary wild animals couldn't do this
kind of destruction.

These beasts are the "beasts" told of in the
thirteenth chapter of Revelation. They will
rule over the earth without mercy killing
everyone who doesn't worship them. But
they only control a fourth of the earth.
Our military leaders have warned us that
a global war, in which there is an atomic
attack, could result in fifty-million people
dying in just a few minutes.

With nation after nation developing atomic
weapons, hundreds of millions could die in
a very short time.

These bombs could
equal all the bombs
dropped in
World War II.
The Fourth Horseman riding on the Pale
Horse represented death.

War and famine will tortured the earth
with the power of modern warfare to
destroy a fourth of it.

It is the time of the Great Tribulation and
no flesh would be saved were it not that
God shorten the days.
"And when he had
opened the
fourth seal,
I heard the voice of
the fourth beast say,
Come and see. And
I looked and behold
a pale horse:
and his name that
sat on him
was Death,
and Hell followed
him.
And power was given
unto them over
the fourth part of the earth, to kill with
sword and with hunger, nd with death,
and with the beasts of the earth"
Revelation 6:7-8
As the result of the
riding of the Red
Horse,
the nations of the
world have moved
into
war.
In war time there is
a scarcity of food.

But food is still sold
for a price and the
rich
may buy it on
the "black market".

As usual, the rich are not affected in the
same way the poor are but the day comes
when the rich will feel it as well, in the
sixth chapter of Revelation, verse fifteen.
The Third Horseman appears to check the
affects of the famine from getting out of
hand, like he is under some kind of orders,
"and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine."

Olive trees and vines will continue to bare,
but no the crops of wheat and barley.
