Then the angel said to me [John], “Don’t seal up the words of the prophecy in this book because the time is near. Let those who don’t have God’s approval go without it, and let filthy people continue to be filthy. Let those who have God’s approval continue to have it, and let holy people continue to be holy.”

He said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord God of the spirits of the prophets has sent his angel to show his servants the things that must happen soon. I’m coming soon! Blessed is the one who follows the words of the prophecy in this book.”

         I, John, heard and saw these things. When I had heard and seen them, I bowed to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing me these things. He told me, “Don’t do that! I am your coworker. I work with other Christians, the prophets, and those who follow the words in this book. Worship God!”

The angel showed me a river filled with the water of life, as clear as crystal. It was flowing from the throne of God and the lamb. Between the street of the city and the river there was a tree of life visible from both sides. It produced 12 kinds of fruit. Each month had its own fruit. The leaves of the tree will heal the nations. There will no longer be any curse.

          The throne of God and the lamb will be in the city. His servants will worship Him and see His face. His name will be on their foreheads.There will be no more night, and they will not need any light from lamps or the sun because the Lord God will shine on them. They will rule as kings forever and ever.

I [John] did not see any temple in it, because the Lord God Almighty and the lamb are its temple. 

        The city doesn’t need any sun or moon to give it light because the glory of God gave it light. The lamb was its lamp. The nations will walk in its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. 

               Its gates will be open all day. They will never close because there won’t be any night there. They will bring the glory and wealth of the nations into the holy city. Nothing unclean, no one who does anything detestable, and no liars will ever enter it. Only those whose names are written in the lamb’s Book of Life will enter it.

The angel who was talking to me [John] had a gold measuring stick to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. The city was square. It was as wide as it was long. He measured the city with the stick. It was 12,000 stadia long. Its length, width, and height were the same. He measured its wall. According to human measurement, which the angel was using, it was 144 cubits. Its wall was made of gray quartz. The city was made of pure gold, as clear as glass. The foundations of the city wall were beautifully decorated with all kinds of gems: The first foundation was gray quartz, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth onyx, the sixth red quartz, the seventh yellow quartz, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth green quartz, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. The 12 gates were 12 pearls. Each gate was made of one pearl. The street of the city was made of pure gold, as clear as glass.

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the last seven plagues came to me and said, “Come! I will show you the bride, the wife of the lamb.” He carried me by his power away to a large, high mountain. He showed me [John] the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven. It had the glory of God. Its light was like a valuable gem, like gray quartz, as clear as crystal. It had a large, high wall with 12 gates. Twelve angels were at the gates. The names of the 12 tribes of Israel were written on the gates. There were three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. The wall of the city had 12 foundations. The 12 names of the 12 apostles of the lamb were written on them.

But cowardly, unfaithful, and detestable people, murderers, sexual sinners, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars will find themselves in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death, Revelation 21:8.

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

        And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

              He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. Revelation 21:1-2; 4; 7

When Jesus returns and gathers all the redeemed of all the ages, heaven will be filled.

         On the right hand will also be Gabriel and his messengers.

         On the left will be Michael and his warriors

         Before the throne will be all of the redeemed.

         Lucifer and his demons will be locked up for 1,000 years. 

That is when the first 1,000 years [Christ's millennial reign] will begin.

In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. Ephesians 1:11-12

The Trinity, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit decided that Jesus would come to earth and redeem mankind with His blood so they can can inherit what He planned to provide for them.

       According as he hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love:

5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Lucifer [who is now called satan] was cast out of heaven with the host of angels who followed him when he rebelled against God.

God created three archangels to administer His will.
        Gabriel, Daniel 9:21-22, Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.

        Michael, Daniel 10:13, But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

         Lucifer, Ezekiel 28:13-14, Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
² Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
³ And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
⁴ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
⁵ They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
⁶ We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error, 1 John 4:1-6.

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
² And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
³ And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not, 2 Peter 2:1-3.

So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the Lord, even against the word of the Lord, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it;
¹⁴ And enquired not of the Lord: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse, 1 Chronicles 10:13-14.

  And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?
²⁰ To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
²¹ And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward, Isaiah 8:19-21.

Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God, Leviticus 19:31.

        Leviticus 20:6,  And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.

Demon power has to do with the worship of other gods. The beginning was when Lucifer the fallen angel said that he would exalt himself....Isaiah 14:13. He desired to be worshiped, so he caused rebellion in heaven.

          This same Lucifer/devil/satan deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden, causing Adam and Eve to be expelled from the Garden by God. Throughout the centuries, he has fought to be worshiped and to destroy all who loves the true and living God.

1 John 3:8  He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

        This one thing we know, if the devil attacks us, we are not prisoners without hope. We can be set free by having faith in God and believing we can be free by His mighty power.

The Church is commissioned to cast out devil's, Mark 16:17.

        It is time a great freedom to be set in motion. We, believers, should set out to bring freedom to those repressed, depressed, suppressed, oppressed, obsessed or possessed by the powers of the devil.

             The same Jesus who set them free over two thousand years ago can set them free today!

In these last days every believer and disciple of Jesus should be able to set people free from the devil's power.

      Many Christians don't realize the authority and power that belongs to them as children of God.

           James 4:7 says to Resist the devil and he will flee from you!Why should we run from the devil? He runs from us. . . .there is no point in both of us running!
