The Laodiceans think they are rich and
increased with goods and have need of
nothing.
There is more religion, more church mem-
bership than ever. But it is mostly outward
profession, having a form of godliness but
denying the power thereof.
There is a look of religion but worldliness
now dominates the professed church. There
is presently a move to unite all Christians.
If this happens what a Babylon it will be!
Until then God has not given up on the
Laodicean Church. He calls for the people
to repent, and to "anoint their eyes with
eyesalve that they might see."
