The locusts in Revelation 9:3 are not the
ordinary kind of locust. They are demon
locusts.

They have a
king over
them called
Abaddon
or Apollyon,
the angel
of the
bottomless
pit. [vs 11].

Ordinary locusts do not have a king
over them.
