The Judgments of Egypt were directed against Pharoah, the Judgments of the Tribulation Period will be directed against Israel.

At least 5 of the 9 Plagues of  Egypt are to be repeated during the Tribulation Period.

     The difference between the Egyptian Plague of the First Trumpet, is, that the situation will be reversed.

            Then the children of Israel escaped, now they will suffer.

Before the day when the Lord comes to take vengeance on his enemies, He is going to repeat the Plagues of Egypt.

           They were literal, so will the Trumpets and Vials.

                     The literalness of these judgments give us the key to the literalness of the Book of Revelation.

The Lord says that in the latter days He will show wonders in the heavens and the earth, blood and fire, and pillars of smoke.

       The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord.

The Trumpets mean what they say, they are not spiritualized.

        These things have happened before so they can happen again.

                   It is the fulfillment of Joel 2:30-31 what will happen in the later days.

The Seven Trumpets
Hail - Fire - Blood
Revelation 8:6-7

"And the Seven Angels which had the Seven Trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
The First Angel sounded and there followed Hail and Fire mingled with Blood, and they were cast upon the Earth: and the third part of the trees was burnt up and all green grass was burnt up."

The Seventh Seal, the Seventh Trumpet, and the Seventh Vial all end the same, they all end at the same time, the end of the Week.

       These judgments are the answers to the prayers of the Saint for vengeance on their enemies.

The name of the Angel isn't given but we are told that he was given much incense and that he offered it with the prayers of the Saints.

       These Saints were the Saints of the Tribulation Period and their prayers were for deliverance from their enemies.

                This accounts for the Angel filling the Censer with fire from off the altar and casting it on to the earth, with the effect seen in the voices and thunderings, that broke the silence of Heaven and the lightnings and earthquake on the earth.

                       The same things happened when the Seventh Trumpet sounds and the Seventh Vial is poured out.

The Seven Angels get ready to sound the Trumpets.

       They took the Trumpets that were handed to them and took up their positions where they could sound them; but before the Trumpets were sounded, John saw another Angel with a Golden Censer in his hand come and stand before the Golden Altar.

After the silence, John saw in Heaven Seven Angels of great importance, they are standing in the presence of God, and they were given Seven Trumpets.

         The Trumpets are used to call to war, to worship, for the gathering of all the people, to call Festivals,

The Golden Censer
Revelation 8:2-5

"And I saw the Seven Angels which stood before God; and to them were given Seven Trumpets.
And another Angel came and stood at the Altar (The Golden Incense Altar), having a Golden Censer; and there was given unto him much Incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the Golden Altar which was before the Throne.
And the smoke of the Incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the Angel's hand.
And the Angel took the Censer and filled it with fire of the Altar, and cast it into the earth; and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake."

The silence that followed the breaking of the Seventh Seal prepared for what was to follow during the sounding of the Trumpets, and the pouring out of the Vials.

       The Twenty-four Elders stopped playing their harps; the angels stop singing, and the Cherubim and Seraphim and all the host of Heaven were silent, and the silence was so great that all Heaven was awed by it that John said it lasted for half an hour. The suspense was intense.

              It was this period of silence that prepared for the awful judgments that were burst upon the earth under the Trumpets and Vials.

The Seventh Seal includes all the happenings during the sounding of the Trumpets, and the pouring out of the Vials, and goes down to the ushering in of the Millennium.

     The Seven Trumpets includes the Seven Vials.

Silence
Revelation 8:1

"And when He had opened the Seventh Seal, there was silence in Heaven about the space of half and hour."

And this Blood Washed Multitude, being Gentiles, couldn't serve in the earthly Jewish Temple.

         The sight of this multitude will so thrill and rejoice the Angelic Hosts that they will fall upon their faces and worship God, saying,
"Amen: Blessing, and Glory, and Wisdom, and Thanksgiving, and Honor, and Power, and Might, be unto our God forever and forever. Amen."

"That they shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat, for the Lamb which is in the midst of the Throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes," is not in the 1000 years reign but is in Heaven.

That there is a Temple in Heaven, we are told in Revelation 11:19, 15:5-8 and 16:1.

The New Jerusalem and Heaven are not the same.

       The New Jerusalem is the place that Jesus went to prepare for His Bride, the Church, and John declares that he saw it coming down out of Heaven.

The blood washed multitude is another class of the saved of the End-time.

        They do not represent the Church, for the Church has already been taken out in the rapture.

             They are a multitude save by the preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom during the tribulation period. 

The Blood Washed Multitude
Revelation 7:9-17

"After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the Throne, and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palms in their hands; and cried with a loud voice, 'Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
And all the angels stood round about the Throne, and about the Elders and the Four Beasts, and fell before the Throne on their faces, and worshipped God, saying, Amen: Blessing and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
And one of the Elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and when came they?
And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest.
And he said to me, These are they which came out of the great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the Throne of God and serve Him day and night in His Temple: and He sitteth on the Throne shall dwell among them.
They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more: neither shall the light on them, nor any heat.
For the Lamb which is in the midst of the Throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of water: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes."

The 'Elect' of Israel will be those who fear Christ's name, and who like Simon and Anna watched for His first coming, will be looking for the coming of their Messiah.

The Angel who is in charge of sealing the 144,000 comes from the east.

        This shows that the Sealed Ones are looking toward the sun-rising, as if looking for the fulfillment  of the promise in Malachi 4:2 ,
"Unto you that fear My name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings."

Even though the 12 tribes of Israel were scattered and lost in and among all the nations, God knows where they are.

            And even though they may have lost the genealogy books and records, not being able to trace their tribal descendants, God
knows where they are and who is who, and in that day the angels will seal them according to their Tribes.

The 144,000, 12,000 from each Tribe, will be of the earthly Israel.

       It's the seed of Abraham, living at that time and not of a spiritual Israel.

Theirs isn't a secret discipleship.

In the same public manner, the followers of the Antichrist will be Sealed in their foreheads or on their right hands with the mark of the Beast which is the number of his name, or 666.
