The Woman was 'drunken with the blood of the Saints and the with the blood of the Martyrs of Jesus.'

        This refers particularly of the time of the Antichrist, but knowing history of the church for the past centuries, this is true of the Papal Church.

                The persecutions of the early Christians and the Inquisition; we know of them having been 'drunk' with the blood of the Saints.
