God has symbols of His power.

           In the Old Testament, there was the Ark of God. It was a symbol of His presence and power. It was placed in the Holy of Holies and above it was the Shekinah glory which is a light unlike any human light. There were no candles, no artificial light of any kind in the Holy of Holies.

                    When the light was gone, God was gone.

God warns us against all supernaturalism that isn't of Him.

         There are two areas of supernaturalism:
         1) is demon power and
         2) His power.

                    Christians shouldn't have one thing to do with anything related to demon power.

Paul says in 1 Corinthians 10:19-20, that the idols are nothing and even the offering is nothing, but behind each idol is a demon that craves to be worshipped. Christians are to have nothing to do with any of them.

John 10:10, The thief [devil] cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I [Jesus] am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

        The devil steals health, finances and sanity.
        The devil kills with cancer, diseases and murders.
        The devil destroys the spirit, soul and body of any person who yield to his deceptions.

Jesus delivered/healed all that were oppress of the devil.
          Acts 10:38,  How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.  

Jesus delivers from bondage of fear.
         Romans 8:15,   For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Jesus healed all kinds of sicknesses and diseases.
          Matthew 4:23, And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.    

Jesus also delivered a boy from a spirit of epilepsy/convulsions.
          Matthew 17:15, Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water.

Jesus healed those with unclean spirits.
         Luke 4:36, And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.  

Jesus healed a woman's daughter who was grievously vexed [ possessed] with a devil.
           Matthew 15:22- 28, And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. . . . . . . . . Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Jesus healed those that were blind and mute.
         Matthew 12:22,  Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw. 

Jesus also delivered a maniac.
          Mark 5:3-4,   who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains,  because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him. 

Jesus healed diseases, torments, demon possessed, lunatics and paralytics.         

         Matthew 4:23-24,  And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. 

               Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

A woman's back bowed over for 18 years.
              Luke 13:11-16, And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. . . .And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. .
And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?   

Not all deafness or dumbness can be labeled demon power, but God's Word declares there are specific cases caused by demons.
            Mark 9:25,  When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it: “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!”   

A Mute Man Speaks
As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a man, mute and demon-possessed.  And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying, “It was never seen like this in Israel!” Matthew 9:32-33.

There is absolute proof that evil spirits or demons bring disease and sickness upon people. All medical doctors find baffling cases which cannot be explained medically.
                 Job 2:7,  So went satan forth from the presence of the Lord and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

                      Satan caused these terrible sores to be upon Job's body. No medicine of any kind could heal him. Job had no physical disability and no organ malfunction. It was a direct work of the devil. God became Job's physician and healer.
            Job 42:10, And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Sinners cannot cast out devils.
         Acts 19:14-16, And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
         
          If sinners could exorcise evil spirits it would be a house divided against itself.
                    Matthew 12:26-27,  And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
²⁷ And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.

Christians have the authority to resist the devil.
             1 Peter 5:8-9 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
              James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
