The difference between the Old Testament
prophecies and the New we see in Daniel.
The angel declared that the prophecies given
to Daniel were for the time of the end and not
for his generation. "And he said, Go thy way
Daniel; for the words are closed up and sealed
till the time of the end." Daniel 12:9

But the Book of Revelation, starting with the
4th chapter refers to the opening of the proph-
ecies that had been sealed.

Though no man was found who was worthy to
do this, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah (Jesus)
Himself opened the book and loosed the seals.
(Revelation 5:5)
