"And they heard a great voice from heaven
saying unto them, Come up hither. And
they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and
their enemies beheld them.
And the same hour was there a great
earthquake, and the tenth part of the city
fell, and in the earthquake were slain of
men seven thousand: and the remnant
were affrighted, and gave glory to the God
of heaven.
The second woe is past; and, behold, the
third woe cometh quickly.
And the seventh angel sounded; and there
were great voices in
heaven, saying, The
kingdoms of this world
are become the
kingdoms of our Lord,
and of his Christ;
and he shall reign for
ever and ever."

Revelation 11:12-15
Many wonder if the woes will bring people
to their senses or if these judgments cause
the nations to come to repentence.

One would hope so. But evil is far advanced.
"And the rest of the men which were not
killed by these plagues yet repented not of
the works of their hands, that they should
not worship devils, and idols of gold, and
silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood:
which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
Neither repented they of their murders, nor
of the sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor
of their thefts." Revelation 9:20-21
The earth has a population of about three
billion people. Considering the huge number
killed during the Great Tribulation, if 1/3 are
wiped out under the Sixth Trumpet, it will
hardly leave one and a half billion.

The Vial judgments and Armageddon are yet
to come, and that indicates that less than a
billion people will be left by the time the
Battle of Armageddon is over.

These are rough estimates.
The 18th verse declares that "the third part
of men" are slain by these horsemen.

The Great and Notable Day of the Lord is a
time of dealing with the human race. Only
a remnant [portion] will be left to go into
the Millennium [a thousand year reign of
Jesus Christ].

Only eight survived the Flood; there will be
more remaining here when the judgment
is completed, but it is true that the wicked
are to be rooted out of the earth.

"The inhabitants of the earth are burned
and few men are left." Isaiah 24:6
The infernal horsemen of the Sixth Trumpet,
do not come to deceive men. The day of
deception is over, Satan now unmasks his
demonic identity.

Those who have taken the mark of the beast,
are doomed while they live.

These horsemen from the demon world come
to torment and destroy human beings. They
without the protection of the Spirit of God
have little or not defense.
These horsemen are not natural coming from
the spirit world. Under certain circumstances
they are able to make their presence felt in the
natural world.

We have heard of many strange accounts of
men in 'Flying Saucers'. Eye witnesses tell of
them moving at terrific speed and have the
ability to take of instantly etc. They can
materialize and dematerialize.

All of which suggests of sorcery and of the
Black Arts. Those who are led away by them,
have no real foundation in the Word of God.

Merry Christmas 2010

The army of 'two hundred million horsemen'
that follows these angels, are either humans
or they are of the spirit world.

"And the number of the army of the horsemen
were two hundred thousand thousand: and I
heard the number of them." Revelation 9:16

These have to be spirit-horsemen. An army of
200,000,000 horsemen would be more than
the natural resources of the world.

Even if it is conceivable that an army of this
size could be mobilized, there certainly isn't
that many horses available.
Some believe that the times "an hour, and
a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay
the third of men", also refers to the length
of time of these angel's freedom.

This is possible, and might indicate the
remaining length of time left until the end
of the judgments on the earth.

Some judgments [not the Fifth Trumpet]
continues even after another begins.

For instance, the effects of the First Vial
are still felt when the Fifth Vial is poured
out. Revelation 16:11
In Revelation 9:15, it states that these angels
"were prepared for an hour, and a day, and
a month, and a year, to slay the third part of
men"

This must mean that the loosing of these
angels which had been imprisoned has been
set for a certain time, and this event will ful-
fill a definite purpose in God's plan.
Acts 15:18 "Known unto God are all his works
from the beginning of the world."

God never has to ad lib, but he knows the end
from the beginning, He has expected every
detail.

Every detail of the prophetic word will move
on to the appointed conclusion of His plan.
We aren't told if the angels bound in
"Euphrates" are of the angels which are in
Tartarus. But whether they are or aren't,
or whether "Euphrates" is another prison
house for fallen angel, it makes no differ-
ence.

These are evil angels that have been bound
and are to be loosed at this particular time.
In the book of Jude, he speaks of the same
thing in the sixth verse .

"And the angels which kept not their first
estate, but left their own habitation, he hath
reserved in everlasting chains under dark-
ness unto the judgment of the great day."
The loosing of the four angels that are
bound evidently means they are evil angels.
Good angels are never bound. Some but
not all evil angels are bound.

Peter told us that certain angels that had
sinned and kept not their first estate, have
been cast down to hell. [the word used here
in the Greek for 'hell' isn't Hades which is
the place of the dead or Gehenna which is
the Lake of Fire].

It is "Tartarus" apparently a prison in the
earth possibly associated but not identical
with the Bottomless Pit.

"For if God spared not the angels that sinned,
but cast them down to hell, and delivered
them into chains of darkness, to be reserved
unto judgment. . . ." 2 Peter 2:4
An altar always speaks of mercy, but we
find this altar crying out for judgment.

Some great crimes has apparently been
committed against it, to cause its four
horns to cry out. Its implication is that
God's way of forgiveness has been re-
jected.

Read Revelation 9:13-16

The Sixth Trumpet
is a severe judgment
and is called one of
the three woes.

The Sixth Trumpet
sounded a judgment
more intense than
even the one before it.

The Sixth Trumpet destroys one-third of
the earth's population. It is a catastrophe.

Just like in the Fifth Trumpet, inhabitants
of the spirit-world are active in this judg-
ment also.
Both prophecies in Revelation and Joel
tells that God's people who earnestly seek
Him are protected.

The locust-demons or locust-horses can
not touch or harm those who have the
seal of God. "And it was commanded them
that they should not hurt. . .only those men
which have not the seal of God on their
foreheads" Revelation 9:4 This refers to
Israelites who were sealed. Revelation 7:
1-12

In Joel 2, Israel, is commanded "to weep
between the porch and the altar" and to
seek mercy from God. Joel 2:17

This evidence is strong that the locust-
horses of Revelation 9 that came from the
Pit during the Fifth Trumpet are the same
as those in the prophecy of Joel 2.
Both prophecies in Revelation and Joel
has armies that show organization behind
them.

The locust horses of the Fifth Trumpet
"had a king over them, which is the angel
of the bottomless pit. . . "

The prophecy of Joel 2, shows that this
army moves not at random, but in an
orderly way, with a common purpose,
indicating organization and command.
Joel 2:7-8
Both prophecies in Revelation and Joel
liken the noise of the locust-horses to the
sound of chariots.

The locust-horses make a sound "as the
sound of chariots, of many horses running
to battle." Revelation 9:9

The prophecy in Joel, also tells them mak-
ing the noise of chariots. "Like the noise of
chariots on the tops of mountains shall
they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire
that devoureth the stubble, as a strong
people set in battle array." Joel 2:5.
Both prophecies of Revelation and Joel
tells of creatures having power to injure
but not kill.

"And to them it was given that they should
not kill them but that they should be torm-
ented five months; and their torment was
as the torment of a scorpion when he
striketh a man." Revelation 9:5

The prophecy in Joel, declares that these
creatures shall cause much pain, but they
are not said to kill.

"Before their face the people shall be much
pained: all faces shall gather blackness."
Joel 2:6
Both prophecies in Revelation and Joel
tells of spirit-creatures.

Though the locusts were demons "like
unto horses", they were not actual horses.
They were spirit-beings that came out of
the Bottomless Pit.

The prophecy in Joel, refers to the non-
natural nature. Ordinary horses or locusts
can be killed. These evil creature couldn't
be wounded in Joel 2:8.

Also, they have power to climb walls, run
upon them, enter windows, which ordinary
horses can't do Joel 2:7-9.
Both prophecies in Revelation and Joel
tells of creatures like horses. These locust-
demons are like unto horses prepared for
battle. "And the shapes of the locusts were
like unto horses prepared for battle."
Revelation 9:7

The prophecy of Joel tells of strange creat-

ures with the appearance of horses. " The
appearance of them is as the appearance
of horses: and as horsemen, so shall they
run." Joel 2:4
Both prophecies in Revelation and Joel
refer to locust-like creatures.

The Fifth Trumpet has demon-locusts

coming out of the Bottomless Pit. They
are similar to locusts but they are not
literal locusts. "And there came out of
the smoke, locusts upon the earth; and
unto them was given power, as scorp-
ions of the earth had power."
Revelation 9:3

The prophecy of Joel 2 tells of an army

of creatures which came upon the land
that act like locusts, but they are not
literal locusts.
Both prophecies in Revelation and Joel
begins by the blowing of a trumpet.

The Fifth Trumpet is preceded by an
angel blowing a trumpet Revelation 9:1.
In Joel 2:1 the prophecy is preceded by
the blowing of a trumpet.
Both prophecies in Revelation and Joel
speak of a day of darkness. . .

The Day of the Lord is introduced with
the darkening of the sun and moon. The
Fourth Trumpet, before the Fifth Trumpet
was the same. "The third part of the sun
was smitten, and the third part of the
moon, and the third part of the stars; so
as the third part of them was darkened."
Revelation 8:12

The Fifth Trumpet has a darkening of
the sun by the smoke from the Bottom-
less Pit. Revelation 9:2 And the prophecy
of Joel 2:2 also speaks of this day of
darkness.
Both prophecies in Revelation 6:12-17
and Joel 2:10 speaks of an earthquake.

The Day of the Lord as shown in Revelation,
begins with an earthquake, the darkening
of the sun and the moon, the shaking of the
heavens, and the falling of the stars from
heaven.

The prophecy in Joel is preceded by an
earthquake, the darkening of the sun and the
moon and the stars.
Both prophecies of Revelation and Joel were
fulfilled during the Day of the Lord. The time
for the appearance of this judgment mention-
ed in Joel is right.

The Fifth Trumpet come shortly after the
beginning of the Day of the Lord. Revelation
6:16-17 The second chapter of Joel starts
with the statement, "the day of the Lord
cometh, for it is nigh at hand."
There appears to be a prophecy in the Book
of Joel that goes along remarkably with
the Locusts Judgment that its almost
certain that it represents the events of
the Fifth Trumpet.

"Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound
an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the
inhabitants of the land tremble: for the
day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at
hand;
A day of darkness and of gloominess, a

day of clouds and of thick darkness, as
the morning spread upon the mountains:
a great people and a strong; there hath
not been ever the like, neither shall be any
more after it, even to the years of many
generations.
A fire devoureth before them; and behind

them a flame burneth: the land is as the
garden of Eden before them, and behind
them a desolate wilderness; yea, and
nothing shall escape them.
The appearance of them is as the appear-

ance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall
they run.
Like the noise of chariots on the tops of

mountains shall they leap, like the noise
of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble,
as a strong people set in battle array.
Before their face the people shall be much

pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
They shall run like mighty men; they shall

climb the wall like men of war; and they
shall march every one on his ways, and
they shall not break their ranks:
Neither shall one thrust another; they shall

walk every one in his path: and when they
fall upon the sword, they shall not be
wounded.
They shall run to and fro in the city; they

shall run upon the wall, they shall climb
up upon the houses; they shall enter in at
the windows like a thief.
The earth shall quake before them; the

heavens shall tremble: the sun and the
moon shall be dark, and the stars shall
withdraw their shining:
And the LORD shall utter his voice before

his army: for his camp is very great: for
he is strong that executeth his word: for
the day of the LORD is great and very
terrible; and who can abide it?"
Joel:1-11

Abaddon, is Satan's special angel who holds
dominion over the demons of the pit.

Satan is the one that had the key of the Pit,
but the immediate king of the demons is
Abaddon.

Eventually, Satan himself will be cast into
the Bottomless Pit and the key taken from
him.
" And they had a king over them, which is
the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name
in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in
the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon."
Revelation 9:11

Abaddon or Apollyon is a subordinate

prince under the rule of Satan. Satan has
many demon angels under him [Matthew
25:41].

Satan has princes who have power to resist

the missions of the righteous angels.
[Daniel 10:13].
This judgment of the locusts is to continue
for five months. Revelation 9:10 " And they

had tails like unto scorpions, and there were
stings in their tails: and their power was to
hurt men five months."

It is the same length of time that the flood
lasted [Genesis 7:24]. And about the length
of time natural locusts appear - May thru
September.

This Judgment is the first of three "woes".

Thanksgiving
People who ignore the awful fact of demon
power will when unpotected by the Spirit
of God, have a horrible awakening in this
time that is coming.

When that evil trial strikes the earth, men
will in desparation seek death to get rid of
the pain. Since the sting is not usually fatal
it will be said, "In these days men shall seek
death and shall not find it, and shall desire
to die, and death shall flee from them."
Revelation 9:6.
The demon-locusts have power to torment
men, and their sting is as that of a scorpion.

A scorpion's sting is known to be one of the
most painful that can be experience but not
necessarially fatal.

It seems foolish that a demon can sting,
but it is recorded of people being bitten by
demons that even attracted world-wide
attention. It shows the amazing powers of
evil spirits under certain conditions.
The Bottomless Pit or Abyss is not the
same as the Lake of Fire.

The Bottomless Pit is a prison. Demons
plead with Jesus not to send them to that
place [Luke 8:31]. The Beast of Revlelation
17, comes up out of the Bottomless Pit.

And now these demon-locusts arise from
the opened Pit as a swarm of evil creatures
from hell. Evil creatures are held there for
a particular period of time and are released
when that time is up, to do some particular
reason or purpose.

Satan is bound in the Bottomless Pit dur-
ing the Millennium [1000 years], but
will be let out at the end for a little while
longer to test the nations. Revelation 20:7-9
So these locusts are not ordinary. They are
supernatural creatures that have been let
loose from the Bottomless Pit and have the
power to torment men, but not kill them.
These locusts were commanded not to
touch any green things. Ordinary locusts
have power to destroy one thing, the green
vegetation.

These demon-locusts have power to sting
like a scorpion. Ordinary locusts don't.
These locusts' description, "like unto
horses prepared for battle; and on their
heads crowns like gold, and their faces
were as the faces of men, and they had
hair as the hair of women; and their
teeth as the teeth of lions. . ."

Again not that of ordinary locusts.
When a plague of locusts swarm, they are
able to darken the sky.

So when these locusts come out the Pit, in
their swarming, they will darken the sun.

But by their coming out of the Pit, they are
not like ordinary locusts.
These locusts came out of the Bottomless
Pit or Abyss.

Ordinary locusts don't come from the Bot-
tomless Pit.

The Pit is a place for confined demons,

[Luke 8:27-31];
the Beast [Revelation 17:8];
fallen angels [Revelation 9:11;
and Satan himself during the Millennium
[Revelation 20:1-3].
The locusts in Revelation 9:3 are not the
ordinary kind of locust. They are demon
locusts.

They have a
king over
them called
Abaddon
or Apollyon,
the angel
of the
bottomless
pit. [vs 11].

Ordinary locusts do not have a king
over them.
In the case of the Fifth Trumpet, it seems
evident that the 'star' represents a person-
ality, an evil one.

For it is a "star fallen from heaven". He has
the key of the bottomless pit, so he can let
lose a multitude of demon locusts.

A true angel may descend from heaven but
never 'falls from heaven'. Such a term refers
to one cast out of heaven. Satan's fall from
heaven in Luke 10:18, "And he said unto
them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from
heaven."
'Stars' in the Book of Revelation mean
various things.

They may represent human beings, as in
Revelation 1:16,20 where they are guard-
ians, or pastors, of the Seven Churches.
[also see Daniel 12:3]

They can be good angels or bad angels as
in both the Old and New Testaments.
[Judges 5:20 and Revelation 12:4]

They are seen as meteorites as in the
Sixth Seal. [Revelation 6:13]

This star that fell
onto the earth
under the
Fifth Trumpet is
Satan, the fallen
archangel.

The Greek rendering is: "I saw a star fallen
upon earth." He had fallen from the heaven
at the beginning of the Great Tribulation.

"And the fifth angel
sounded, and I saw a
star fall from heaven
unto the earth: and to
him was given the key
of the bottomless pit.

And he opened the bottomless pit; and
there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the
smoke of a great furnace; and the sun
and the air were darkened by reason of
the smoke of the pit.
And there came out of the smoke locusts
upon the earth: and unto them was
given power, as the scorpions of the
earth have power.
And it was commanded them that they
should not hurt the grass of the earth,
neither any green thing, neither any
tree; but only those men which have
not the seal of God in their foreheads."
Revelation 9:1-4
"The Three Woes" Revelation 8:13, 9:12
and 11:14 shows they are the 5th, 6th and
7th Trumpets.

These judgments are much more severe
than the first four.
Darknes is settling over the earth. When
Christ was on the cross, there was dark-
ness from the sixth hour to the ninth hour,
one quarter of the day. [Matthew 27:45]

Now darkness covers one-third of the day.
The same is with the night.
Some do not believe in Divine intervention
in the natural world. But they will learn
that they are mistaken.

God is intervening. Strange things are
happening in the heavenlies.

There has been hail; lightning and thunder;
fires have broken out in hundred of places;
meteorites have fallen from heaven.

Natural attempts to explain them have been
seen as foolish. Now the light of day is cut
to one-third.

The wise and great men are speechless.
At the same time, the Antichrist rages
against forces he has no power to control.
This Fourth Trumpet lets us know that
the light of both the sun and moon, and
the stars will change.

Maybe it will be a phenomenon that even
the astronomers can't explain.
The Fourth Trumpet affects the heavens,
the sun and moon, and the stars.

This shows that John, even though he
didn't know of the modern astronomy
discoveries that claims stars to be great
flaming suns in space. That fixed stars
would fall from heaven under the judg-
ment of the Fourth Trumpet.

"And the fourth
angel sounded,
and the third
part of the sun
was smitten,
and the third
part of the moon,
and the third part of the stars;
so as the third part of them was darkened,
and the day shone not for a third part of it,
and the night likewise."
Revelation 8:12
There is a prophecy in Jeremiah, because
of Israel's wickedness, and their refusal
to obey His voice, that the Lord speaks
this to the people:

"Behold I will feed them with wormwood,
and given them water of gall to drink."
Jeremiah 9:15
The Third Trumpet is similar to the Second.

A great star falls to earth burning as a lamp
and it strikes the rivers.

A falling or fallen star, can literally be a falling
meteor or meteorite. The object is spoken of
as "it" meaning something impersonal. It
and its vapor puts something poisonous in
the waters killing those who drink it. This
one is called "Wormwood", named after a
bitter poisonous herb.

"And the third angel
sounded, and there
fell a great star
from heaven,
burning as
it were a lamp,
and it fell upon
the third part of
the rivers, and upon the
fountains of waters;
And the name of the star is called
Wormwood: and the third part of the
waters became wormwood; and many
men died of the waters, because they
were made bitter." Revelation 8:10-11
The Second Trumpet in Isaiah 2:12-16,
the prophet is speaking of the Great Day
of the Lord. "The day of the Lord shall
be upon everyone that is high and lofty. .
. . .And upon all the ships of Tarshish. . ."

Besides the effects of this falling object
will be that the sea will turn to blood.
Whatever causes it, dead animals, or
other causes, we don't know.

Under the judgments upon Egypt, the
waters turned to blood, Exodus 7:20.
We can expect a literal fulfillment also
from this Second Trumpet.
Under the Second Trumpet, a fiery met-
eorite will come to the earth and will
plunge into the
sea.

It wouldn't take a very large object
traveling at a terrific speed to cause a
catastrophe so great that it would kill
0ne-third of the the
shipping.

This event ,
no doubt,
is referred to
by Jesus when He said in
Luke 21:25 as "Signs
in the stars. . . . . . .
the sea and the waves
roaring; men's hearts
failing them for fear."
Great tidal waves will
travel great distances
to cause destruction
over thousand of miles.
In October, 1937 astronomers saw a whirl-
ing fragment about a mile or two around
traveling through space coming close to
earth, but changed directions many miles
away.

There is a precedent for earth to be at risk
by such an object from space.
[Some say 5,000 years ago] A meteorite
crashed near Winslow, Arizona. It left an
immense crater of almost a mile across,
made by the fall and is still there today.
[I, myself, have been there and have seen it, just a
few years ago in the 1990's]

Because of the speed and the tremendous
force, it buried itself hundreds of feet into
the earth forming the crater.

It is believed that it could have wiped out
life over a large part of North America.

If it happened 5,000 years ago, scientists
estimate that it happened about the time
of the Flood.

John sees
something
like
a burning
mountain
falling into
the sea.

It wasn't an earthly mountain because it
came from outer space.

The description seems to say that it is a
large flaming meteorite falling to earth,
something that has actually happened in
the past.
" And the second angel
sounded, and as it were
a great mountain
burning with fire was
cast into the sea: and
the third part of the sea
became blood;

And the third part of the creatures which
were in the sea, and had life, died; and t
he third part of the ships were destroyed."
Revelation 8:8-9

Since the judgments in Egypt were literal,
there is no reason why the Trumpet Judg-
ments are not literal.

The First Trumpet Judgment includes a
grievous plague of hail and fire which
results in one-third of the trees and green
grass being distroyed.

There is a remarkable similarity between
the First Trumpet Judgment and one of
the Egyptian Plagues.

The difference is that the one in Moses'
day, affected only Egypt, none of it affected
the Israelites.
These judgments are literal and not every
one is prepared to accept that.

They are similar to many of the judgments
that came upon Egypt from God through
Moses.
Notice this about the Trumpet Judgments.

There is a gradual rising of intensity with
each one.

The judgments affect one-third of the world.
"third" is used 12 times, and it's a number
that is given to divine government.

The last three judgments exceed the first
four in severity and they are called 'the
three woes'.

"The first angel
sounded, and
there followed hail
and fire mingled
with blood, and
they were cast
upon the earth;
and the third part
of trees was burnt up,
and all green grass was burnt up."
Revelation 8:7
See the importance of the prayers of God's
people, in the bringing of the kingdom of
God.

With the offering of the incense and the
prayers of the saints, God answers with
"voices, and thunderings, and lightnings,
and an earthquake."

The judgments of God are about to begin,
and the Trumpet Angels prepare to sound.

There are some who do not think this angel
is Jesus Christ, since He is now seen as judge
rather than High Priest.

There is strong evidence that the angel is
Christ, and if not, he certainly represents
Him, in His High Priest office and also His
office as Judge.
This offering to God of the prayers of the
saints, would be in connection with Jesus'
office of Mediator (Hebrews 5:5-7).

In Revelation 5:9, Four and Twenty Elders
held the vials of the prayers of the saints,
as they knelt before Jesus.

These prayers of the saints are for God's
Kingdom to come, as Jesus taught them
to pray. As Christ is now about to take
over the kingdoms of this world, it would
be appropriate that He should be the one
that would offer the prayers, as Mediator.
The angel casts fire into the earth; "and
what will I, if it be already kindled? . . . .
Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on
earth? I tell you nay, but rather division."
Luke 12:49, 51

This angel offers the prayers of the saints
and renders them acceptable unto God, the
memorial service. All prayers made to God
must be in Jesus' name; so it appears that
the angel is the Jehovah-angel of the Old
Testament.

We are told that an angel stands at the
altar with a golden censer, and receives
the incense to offer with the prayers of
the saints unto God.

Some believe that the angel is none other
than Christ. Since the censer of gold in an
item belonging to the Holy of Holies, to
be used only by the High Priest that is
passed into the heavens, who is Jesus the
Son of God.

The angels of God have different ranks.

Some are ordinary angels, spoken of as
"sons of God" appear before the Lord only
at appointed times.

Some angels "always behold the face of the
heavenly Father". Gabriel the archangel
is one. When he spoke to Zacharias, he
said, "I am Gabriel that stand in the
presence of God."

In heaven, everyone has their appointed
positions. Because of the importance of
the Trumpet Judgments of the Day of the
Lord, the Seven Angels which stand in the
presence of the God, sound the trumpets.
