The Elders wear

crowns and are

therefore
glorified saints.

Disembodied spirits

are not crowned.

Paul said he expected to receive a crown,
not at death, but "at that day" of His
"appearing" (2 Timothy 4:8).

That these Elders have crowns indicate
that the appearing of Jesus Christ has
taken place at the time of this scene.
