The twenty-four elders evidently repre-
sent the overcomers. Because in the last
verse of the third chapter, Jesus has given
the promise to the overcomers, of sitting
and ruling with Him in His throne. These
are the kings and priests of the church age.

"To him that overcometh will I grant to
sit with me in my throne, even as I also
overcame, and am set down with my
Father in his throne." Revelation 3:21
