The Vision of the Kings 
of the North and South
While Daniel had revealed to him [John] that the Little Horn should come out of one of the Four Kingdoms into which the Empire of Alexander the Great was divided, he wasn't at that time told which one.

            But 20 years later the information was given to him in a Fourth Vision. In that vision he saw two Kings warring against each other; one was the King of the North [Syria], the other the King of the South [Egypt].  This closed this period to the 'Time of the End'.
