" And woe unto them that are with child,
and to them that give suck in those days!
But pray ye that your flight be not in the
winter, neither on the sabbath day: For
then shall be great tribulation, such as
was not since the beginning of the world
to this time, no, nor ever shall be."
Matthew 24:19-21

The Sabbath day is for Israel not for the
Church.

For the Church the Sabbath is every day.
He lives in us and we are His temple....We
are in Christ and He is in us.

It applies to Israel (since the church is no
longer there) through the law of Moses and
will take on more meaning and will be the
center of their worship during the Gospel
of the Kingdom.

They will know that God has not forgotten
His covenant with them as part of their re-
storation.

"O Jerusalem,
Jerusalem,
thou that killest the prophets, and stonest
them which are sent unto thee, how often
would I have gathered thy children together,
even as a hen gathereth her chickens under
her wings, and ye would not!
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me hence
forth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh
in the name of the Lord."Matthew 23:37-39
Here Jesus spoke one of the saddest passages
to Israel from the Mount of Olives.
For two thousand years the Jews have been
without a land, a temple or faith in their God.
But during the Tribulation they will be restored
to God.
The Church has been taken out of the world
and taken to Heaven in the Rapture. Christ
called us to Himself.
God then will focus on Israel. Theywill be
brought to repentance, finally believing the
Gospel of the Kingdom. Being purified through
fires of persecutions, they will believe and look
to Christ's return.

City of Petra hidden behind these
hills

When Israel sees the abomination of
desolation, they are to take this warn-
ing and know that it is time to get out

of town.

Petra is a rosy-red colored city over in
Jordan, that is practically impossible to
enter unless those inside let them in.

Many believe that this is the place where
God will protect and keep Israel through
the last of the Tribulation period.

The Word of God guarantees that Israel
will be protected.

But now is the best time to accept Christ
and believe the Gospel of the Grace of
God. That will guarantee that we will be
saved from the Great Tribulation.

The first half of the tribulation, which
is the first 3 1/2 years may start what
they call "the Beginning ofSorrows".

This time will involve Israel and the
Antichrist. He will try to be a friend to
them and help them build the temple.

But before peace can really set in, He
will break his covenant that he made
with Israel .

Then an unusual amount of persecution
will begin on this little nation.

An idol in the likeness of the Antichrist
will be set up in the temple....which is
proof that a temple is built by this time
by the people of Israel.
Matthew chapters 24 & 25 shows us
the early years of the Tribulation when
persecutions will begin to start.

The Tribulation is God dealing with the
nation of Israel. Israel will be restored
during this time.

The last half of the Tribulation is called
the Great Tribulation also called the
time of 'Jacob's trouble'.

Matthew 24;15-17
He gave Israel a set of verses about
fleeing and getting away. It will be a
time to flee.

Daniel tells of the temple being defiled.
And the New Testament tells of greater
defilement during the tribulation.
The Antichrist will set himself up in the
temple, pretending to be God, which
has been Satan's desire all the time.

"And I give unto them eternal life;
and they shall never perish, neither
shall any man pluck them out of my
hand. My Father, which gave them
me, is greater than all; and no man is
able to pluck them out of my Father's
hand." John 10:28-29
Endurance will not earn us salvation.
It is a gift of God bought by the blood
of Jesus Christ. Not our own works
(perfections), the Word is very clear
on that.
Endurance here is being able to keep
from giving into the pressures of
persecutions (denying Jesus) and
giving into the Antichrist during the
Tribulation.
Which will be hard to do because of the
continuous prospects of being killed if not.

"But he that
shall endure
unto the end,
the same shall
be saved."
Matthew 24:13

This does not mean for this age, only
during the Tribulation.

During the Tribulation, Believers of
the Kingdom will be persecuted and
harassed.

That is what has to be endured. We are
not experiencing that today in the
measure it will happen during the
period of the Tribulation.

"And this gospel of the kingdom shall
be preached in all the world for a
witness unto all nations; and then
shall the end come."Matthew 24:14

This Gospel that will be preached to
the ends of the Earth will be the
Gospel of the Kingdom.

Chapter 7 of Revelation tells us that
there will be 144,000 Jewish witnesses
and numerous Gentiles who will preach
this Gospel of the Kingdom.

Those receiving this Gospel during the
Tribulation will be martyred(beheaded)
for the witness of Jesus.

"For the promise,
that he should be
the heir of the
world, was not to
Abraham, or to
his seed, through
the law, but
through the
righteousness of faith." Romans 4:3

Israel is only the heir of the kingdom.
The Kingdom that God will set up in
this world is called the Kingdom of
Heaven.

When a Jewish person believes in that
gospel, he becomes a citizen of that
Kingdom.

It looks like there will be two Kingdoms.

There will be an eternal Kingdom that
is inherited by the nation of Israel
placed here in this world; AND

There will be an eternal Kingdom that
is inherited by the believers in Jesus,
the Body of Christ, the Church.
"For by grace are ye saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves: it is
the gift of God: Not of works, lest any
man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

We are saved:

"Not by works of righteousness which
we have done, but according to his
mercy he saved us, by the washing of
regeneration, and renewing of the Holy
Spirit," Titus 3:5

The object of our salvation is eternity
in heaven. We who are believers are
heirs of the universe during this
'Dayof Grace'.

We are the heirs of everything not Israel.

continued tomorrow.....

But those becoming believers during
the time of the tribulation.....Israel and
Gentiles.... will not be in favor with the
governments of the world.

They will be especially hated by the one-
world government that the Antichrist
will set up.

Jesus tells us that these days will also
be a time of evangelism....possibly the
greatest time!
"And this gospel of the kingdom shall
be preached in all the world for a
witness unto all nations; and then shall
the end come.". Matt. 24:14

The Gospel that is preached at the time
of the Tribulation is called the "gospel of
the kingdom".
"Then shall they deliver you up to be
afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall
be hated of all nations for my name's
sake. And then shall many be offended,
and shall betray one another, and shall
hate one another. And many false
prophets shall rise, and shall deceive
many." Matt. 24:9-11

This part of the tribulation life is a
series of events called "the persecution".
This persecution will come against the
nation of Israel; they will be hated and
physically killed. It will be a fearful time
for them called "Jacob's Trouble".

This is a good time for all Jews and Gentiles
to accept the Gospel and Christ as Saviour.
Not only will they get everlasting life but
will be "delivered from the wrath to come."

When the
world
enters
the "beginning
of sorrows".......
Then another
great event will be about to come to pass.

This event will signal the end of the
Day of Grace and the beginning of the
Tribulation.

This will be the Rapturing of the Church.

The Church is not mentioned in the Word
relating to the Tribulation but Israel is.

The world is mentioned but not the body
of Christ (the church).

The world and Israel are left to the horrors
of the Tribulation but the believers
have been taken to heaven...we're gone!
The time leading the world into the
Tribulation is called the "beginning
of sorrows".

"For nation shall rise against nation,
and kingdom against kingdom: and
there shall be famines, and pestilences,
and earthquakes, in divers places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows."
Matt. 24: 7-8

The Day of Grace will be over.

Right now we have racial warfare:
Nation shall rise against nation:

Political warfare:
Kingdom against kingdom;

Famines, and pestilences and earth-
quakes; but all these things will stay
in the world....

but when they start to occur
all at the same time, it is a sign that
we are moving toward the days of the
Tribulation.
"And as he sat upon the mount of
Olives, the disciples came unto him
privately, saying, Tell us, when shall
these things be? and what shall be the
sign of thy coming, and of the end of
the world?"
Matt.24:3

"And Jesus answered and said unto
them, Take heed that no man deceive
you. For many shall come in my name,
saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive
many. And ye shall hear of wars and
rumours of wars: see that ye be not
troubled: for all these things must
come to pass, but the end is not yet."

Here Jesus was saying that there will
be some things that will be in the
world at all times. They will exist but
not bring in the Tribulation period.
" For God so loved the world, that he
gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life. For
God sent not his Son into the world to
condemn the world; but that the world
through him might be saved."
John 3 16-17

But there is a time coming when God
will pour out His wrath in a progressive
and devastating way upon this world.

This time will most certainly come and
is called the great Trubulation!
Right now we are living in the church
age called the 'Day of Grace'.

This will end one day and we will
enter the seven-year period described
in....

Romans 2:5-6
"But after thy hardness and
impenitent heart treasurest
up unto thyself wrath against
the day of wrath and revelation
of the righteous judgment of God;
Who will render to every man
according to his deeds:"

God is not rendering to every man
according to his deeds today.

Instead God is withholding His
righteous wrath and judgment.

The question
"Does the Bible
teach that there
will be such a
time as 'the
tribulation'"
is asked the
most. The
answer is
"Yes!

"In Matthew 24 & 25 Jesus gives
us a real picture of the tribulation
and the actual end of the world as
we know it.

The Word refers to the tribulation
in many places, such as Revelation.

It's called 'Jacob's Trouble' in some
places.

It is the name given to the seven
years that God will pour out His
wrath or vengence upon the world.

With all the prophecies and signs of
Jesus' coming....

The cultural decline,
confusion in the economy,
political upheaval
(false promises of peace, looking for
the right leader out of the
problems faced),
spiritual decline.

Man can not solve the mess he has
made....Only God has solutions for us.

"And I saw the dead, small and great,
stand before God; and the books were
opened: and another book was opened,
which is the book of life: and the dead
were judged out of those things which
were written in the books, according to
their works.....And whosoever was not
found written in the book of life was cast
into the lake of fire." Rev. 20:12,15

" Love not
the world,
neither the
things that are in the world. If any
man love the world, the love of the
Father is not in him. For all that is in
the world, the lust of the flesh, and
the lust of the eyes, and the pride of
life, is not of the Father, but is of the
world. And the world passeth away,
and the lust thereof: but he that doeth
the will of God abideth for ever."
1 John 2:15-17

This pretty must tells the future of the
world and the church. It will not be the
Utopia that some want us to hope for.

For those who
rejected Salvation
and for those who
made no decision,
will not be received royally by their
Prince of Darkness, their deceiver.

But those who received Jesus as their
Savior will be welcomed to the Marriage
Supper of the Lamb......A Royal Affair.

No party in this world can compare to
the celebration that will be ours in heaven.

The Lord knows how to put on a party.

It's not a "black tie" affair.
It is a "white robe" affair.

We must have on the right outfit for the
occasion. We must be clothed in the
"white robes of righteousness" to enter
this event.

For those who rejected Jesus as
Saviour

and

Those who made no decision at
all. They will experience all the
furry of hell.

But for those who have accepted
Jesus as their Saviour, they will
only be judged for their works.

Their works will burn up but they
will be 'saved as of by fire' if they
have no real works for God.

Eternity is forever and ever which
the mind has a hard time grasping.

For those who think that when you
are dead you're dead......what if

you are wrong!

For we must
all appear before
the judgment seat
of Christ;
that everyone
may receive the
things done in his
body, according to
that he hath done, whether it be good
or bad." 2 Corinthians 5:10

Once we have left here there is no turning
back or re-deciding....it is settled.
Then comes the judgment part:
Those who accept Jesus as Saviour
HEAVEN.....
Those who reject Jesus as Saviour
HELL.....
Those who make no decision at all
HELL.....
DON'T GO THERE!

"....as it is
appointed
unto men once
to die, but after
this the judgment:"
Hebrews 9:27
One day we will make that tremendous
step that takes us from here into eternity.
Jesus is coming for His Church....Maybe
today....Maybe tomorrow....But He is
coming soon!
We especially are the generation that
will see His appearing, prophecies have
already proved that.
This place is not permanent so we must
be ready!
Remember we will spend eternity some
where....either heaven or hell.
"...evil men and seducers shall wax
worse and worse, deceiving, and being
deceived." 2 Timothy 3:13

Some 'religious people' will betray the
truths in the Word of God. We have
some weird religious ideas that are rising
up even in Christianity. Active sin has
become acceptable and approved of.

It is a natural
curiousity for
people to
want to know
what is in the future.

We do not like surprises!

We do not want to trust fortune tellers
or philosophers, they only make guesses.

"We have also a more sure word of prophecy;
whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as
unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until
the day dawn, and the day star arise in your
hearts:" 2 Peter 1:19

There are certain things God has told us
will come to pass. That we can trust!
We can plan our lives on them.
" Go to now, ye rich men, weep and
howl for your miseries that shall
come upon you. Your riches are
corrupted, and your garments are
motheaten. Your gold and silver is
cankered; and the rust of them shall
be a witness against you, and shall
eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have
heaped treasure together for the last
days. Behold, the hire of the labourers
who have reaped down your fields,
which is of you kept back by fraud,
crieth: and the cries of them which
have reaped are entered into the ears
of the Lord of sabaoth." James 5:1-4

All through the years there has been
a struggle between the rich and the
poor.

The rich would use the poor to
fill them with riches at poor wages.

Communism resulted, a delusion of
Satan to pretend to help the poor.

But prophecy must be fulfilled....a
sign of the return of Jesus.
