The angel in Revelation 10 is

'clothed with a cloud'

Clouds are associated with deity.

God manifested Himself at

Mount Sinai in a thick cloud.

(Exodus 19:16)

He went before the children of

Israel in a 'pillar of cloud'.

Christ represents Himself as coming in the clouds

of heaven (Matthew 24:30)

In Revelation 1 He is said to be coming as a King

"Behold he cometh with the clouds" verse 7.
