It appears that the 42 months [3 1/2 yrs] of
Revelation 11:2, is the first half of Daniel's
Seventieth Week, when the Jews begin their
worship in the 'Tribulation Temple'.

During this time the Arabs [the Gentiles]
continue their worship in the Mosque of
Omar - that is the court without the Temple.
